Burnet Resident helps save 22 cats!
This is a story about Mike who lives right here in Burnet. He called to inquire about our Spay Neuter program. After we visited with him, we discovered that there were 22 cats in his apartment complex that needed to be spayed or neutered. With Mike’s help, we were able to trap all 22 kitties. We took them to Pet Pals in Marble Falls where they were spayed/neutered and received their rabies shots. Without Mike’s holiday spirit of helping and loving animals, this would never have happened. We visited Mike recently and he has such a sweet family of cats now. They all run out and follow him and really love him. It is very heartwarming to watch him with his cats as you can see in the picture. Thank you to Mike and all our Burnet donors who support Hill Country Cat Control and the cats of Burnet County.

This Holiday Season, HCC gives thanks for:

- The HCC volunteers
- You, our loyal donors, without whom HCC would not exist
We realize that times are particularly tough right now…. especially for our low-income clients. Please find it in your heart to give what you can. Your donations do a lot more than fund TNR clinics. They allow us to make a meaningful difference right in our own neighborhoods.
Essential Holiday Pet Safety Tips
Avoid Human Foods: Many holiday foods are toxic to pets. Keep chocolate, alcohol, caffeine, onions, garlic, grapes, and raisins out of reach.
Choose Pet-Safe Plants: Avoid common holiday plants like poinsettias, mistletoe, and holly, which can be toxic. Consider using artificial decorations.
Candle safety: Never leave burning candles unattended.
HCC never shares your Information!
