Hill Country Cats is not a shelter or rescue organization, and fostering and adoption are not part of our TNR mission. However, sometimes individual volunteers may choose to foster kittens whose mother has been spayed through HCC, and such kittens may be available for adoption through HCC. (Please note that fostering is not a regular HCC service, is available on an extremely limited basis, and only through individual volunteers.)

Barn Cats

HCC’s colony caregivers also can sometimes recommend cats in their care, already fixed, who would make good barn cats. HCC will adopt out such cats to farmers, ranchers, and other property owners for feline control of vermin. The prospective adopter must agree to feed and care for the barn cat as needed.
